Safety Management & Training serves the construction industry and general industry (factory, industrial, commercial, etc) with the goal of lowering your business operational costs.

Safety Management & Training will get your company or facility in compliance with OSHA regulations through facility reviews, employee training, written safety policies, hazard analysis based on tasks or areas, and mock OSHA inspections.

All subjects are customized to your specific company needs to avoid waste.

The following subjects are common to most businesses:

  • Emergency Evacuation and Contingency Planning
  • Fire Safety & Portable Fire Extinguisher Training
  • Hazardous Chemical Communication (“HAZ-COM”)
  • Powered Industrial Trucks (Fork Lifts)
  • Personal Protective Equipment
  • Bloodborne Pathogen Training
  • Lockout / Tagout (Controlling Hazardous Energy)
  • Confined Space / Permit Required Confined Space
  • Confined Space “Rescuer” Training
  • Chemical Handling & Spill Containment
  • Driver Safety / Motor Fleet Safety
  • Electrical Safety
  • NFPA 70E – Electrical Arc Flash Safety
  • Hearing Conservation
  • First aid
  • Safety & Health Rules / Enforcement of Company Policy
  • Electrical Thermal Imaging
  • Contractor Safety
  • Injury Return to Work / Workman’s Compensation
  • Respiratory Protection
  • Back Safety / Safe Lifting Techniques
  • Employee Refusal to Work

Each contracted service is provided with the following material or action:

  • Company Specific Written Program (Documentation of Compliance & Reference)
  • Employee Training Session(s)
  • Availability for questions regarding implementation
  • Facility Safety Audit utilizing a camera (Based on OSHA regulations, State codes, etc.)
  • Data Collection (Haz-Com, Lockout, Fork Lift, Motor Fleet)
  • Subject Related Safety Materials (MSDS’s, Blood spill clean-up kits, absorbing mtrls)
  • No “extra” fees (No expenses for mileage, office supplies, etc.)

Value added service is almost as much a part of the safety concept as the programs’ themselves. I do not charge for handling safety related questions, topics, phone calls, OSHA inspections, insurance requests, and paperwork.  All these items are included as part of our full service to you.   (It helps me learn about your company along with the selected Safety Programs.)

My fee will be offset by your business managers and supervisors not having to do any work in research, preparation, and execution of safety programs. (A lot of companies are trying to do more with less. The value of a consultant is to remove part of the workload from the management staff – which is my goal.) The programs will also be kept on schedule and not pushed off to the side.

Employee training sessions are specific to the group and customized to your specific company. The end of the training session has a small quiz which provides proof of attendance, basic understanding about the subject matter discussed, and when the training took place. The quizzes are turned over to your staff to be kept as proof of Safety training.

Having the company specific written safety programs, proof of training, and safety audits on site will easily satisfy OSHA’s code of conduct.
